1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of outboardtrading.com (the "Site"), operated by Outboard Trading ("we", "us"). By using the Site you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Products and pricing

• We sell new and pre-owned outboard motors, inflatable boats, parts and accessories. Product descriptions, specifications and photos are provided in good faith; minor variations may occur.
• Prices are shown in the currency stated on each listing and may change without notice until an order is confirmed in writing.
• Some listings are sold by enquiry. Submitting an enquiry or a "request to buy" is not a binding order until we confirm availability and total cost (including freight) by email.
• We may refuse or cancel an order where a listing contains an obvious error.

3. Auctions and bidding

• You must create an account and provide accurate details to place a bid.
• Every bid is a binding offer to purchase at that price if you win.
• Some auctions have a reserve price; if the reserve is not met, the item is not sold. A "buy it now" price, where shown, ends the auction immediately for that buyer.
• Auctions may be extended automatically when bids are placed in the final minutes, to give all bidders a fair chance.
• Winners are contacted by email and must complete payment within the time stated in that email, or the item may be offered to the next highest bidder.
• We may suspend accounts that bid without intention to pay.

4. Shipping and delivery

We arrange freight worldwide. Shipping costs, transit times and any import duties or taxes are confirmed per order before payment. Risk passes to you on delivery to the address you provide.

5. Returns and warranty

Return and warranty terms depend on the product and are stated on the listing or confirmed in your order email. New motors carry the manufacturer's warranty where applicable. Please inspect your order on delivery and report any damage to us immediately with photos.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site: no scraping at scale, no interfering with auctions or other users, no fraudulent bids or payments, and no attempt to access systems or data you are not authorised to access.

7. Liability

The Site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
